75% of NFP CEOs can feel the adverse impacts of skill shortages
Skills shortages continue to pose several challenges in the non-profit sector. PwC Australia’s 3rd Annual Not-for-profit CEO Survey shows that around 75% of NFP CEOs can feel the adverse impacts of skill shortages.
In the past 12 months, 77% of NFPs provided employees with upskilling and training to help their workforce adapt to the impact of new technology, a result which has remained consistent over three years.
The NFP sector is inherently driven by purpose, mission, and values, which provides a natural foundation to recruit employees and foster connections that can have a lasting impact. According to the report, 42% of NFPs are trying to make progress and develop a stronger Employee Value Proposition (EVP).
For NFPs, outsourcing is another option that can help them mitigate the challenges of skill shortages. As per PWC’s report, NFP’s can outsource non-core activities to external providers, and the internal team can work towards attracting professionals with the necessary skills to create a meaningful impact.
The team at NFP offers a range of back-office support services ranging from accounting, IT and Cyber, Marketing Support and Administration support to partly mitigate the impact of skills shortages in the NFP sector.
NFP Business Services partners with NFP organisations to solve critical back office resourcing challenges.
